OpenAI’s hardware push could reshape the AI trade

Lost in the dizzying array of daily headlines from OpenAI is the fact that it may debut a hardware device within the next two years. 

Some are speculating it could be a challenger to the Apple (AAPL) iPhone. Why? OpenAI, in May, bought Jony Ive's AI devices startup io for approximately $6.4 billion in an all-equity deal.
